FEEDBACK SOUGHT FOR SUPPORTING RAIDERBEAT.COM

To Our Readers,

We thank each and every one of you for your patronage the past year, especially the past month or so without any new content.

Many of you have reached out to us, asking what’s up with the site and whether it will continue. We’re hopeful of continuing the site and expanding it at some point. The problem is figuring out a way to make it a reality.

To do so, we need to find a way to make it financially viable. We have several top-notch writers lined up and ready to contribute on a regular basis. Before we proceed, we need to come up with a way to generate enough revenue to compensate the writers.

Therefore, we are soliciting feedback from you, our loyal readers. If you have any ideas for how we can generate revenue and make this the best, most complete Raiders website, we would like to hear from you.

Please, send your feedback to RaiderBeat@aol.com, and we will take it into consideration. Thank you for your assistance and continued loyalty. We hope to be back up and running before long.

Regards,

RaiderBeat.com Staff

What is there to write about when our horrible owner does not make any moves in the off-season,and can’t draft the correct players???

  4. TheRaiderNation says:

Have you talked to other teams websites that they have set up? Maybe they would be willing to give you ideas and such!

  5. D-Raiders says:

now get rid of Gerard warren, Stanford (I cant cover) rout, sam Williams.

And upgrade mlb, with howard, Morrison as olb, get cb in fa robinson from Houston Texans would be great, draft a beast dt, upgrade off line in draft, and let qb be brad grad and we will make playoffs. And give dhb a bottle of stickem on game day

  6. edgarmano says:

  8. RAIDER209 says:

I can’t think of much right now but if anything pops up I’ll be sure to suggest it. I think you guys are awesome when it comes to covering raider news, that jackass is wrong up there, the more dysfunctional, the more there is need to be said/read. raider news is always news to me.

  9. rs66 says:

Really like your approach to Raider news and hope the site is able to continue. Don’t have any great ideas to help you right now but wanted to let you guys know you were appreciated.

To whom it maay concern, I have an idea, have Jamagget Russell give his money to the site since he doesnt deserve it anyways, that should keeep the site going, anyways, you interrupted all the fun we where having.

  11. 209erRaider says:

IM A TYPE A GUY THAT LIKES TO READ BETWEEN THE LINES, AND I THINK THIS IS JUST A WAY THAT MR. DAVIS IS BRINGING DOWN THE NATION, BY TAKING A SITE FOR FANS WHERE THEY CAN EXPRESS THEMSELFS,(CUZ WE RAIDERS ARE RUTHLESS N DNT GIVE A FU** AND LAY OUT LIKE IT IS AND UNCOVER ALL THE POLITIC BS THAT DAVIS AND HERERRA DO) BULL BULL BULL,THIS SITE DOES HAVE FUNDS IF IT DIDNT I WOULDNT BE POSTING THIS BLOG…. BUUUT I GUESS WHATEVER HAPPENS HAPPENS, I SURE DIDNT NEED THIS SITE TO KNOW THAT FARGAS GOT CUT SOO……

  12. lgmasonry says:

Charge everyone 50 dollars a month to access the site….NOT

  13. The Kraken says:

Don’t know how you feel about advertising but those little links to other websites do add up per click, just don’t know how many of those links will become a pain to look at each time you visit this site. One small suggestion, or unless you get a RAIDER player who is willing to sponsor this site?

    Just some far out thoughts.

  14. jackson2dope says:

i think u guys should expand your advertising and do something similar to espn’s insider subscription section, where u guys would put up news but have a special section that requires a subscription where u can get audio, video, maybe special interviews, please keep the news coming, this is the best raiders site i have found and still check it religiously hoping for a new post, haha

  15. r8r ed says:

Cornell Green has left the building. He got picked up by the Bills. Good luck and don’t let the door hit you in the ass.

  16. raiderkid76 says:

I cant believe Walker was being paid $933,333 for every ball that he catches. I am happy that Cornell Green is gone, that fat bastard just gave us penalty after penalty.

  17. r8r ed says:

Hey wex I have an idea you can charge everyone a nickel per reply. That will keep the idiots out anyways just a thought.

  18. whatthehell says:

If you had live chats with players when ever possible, I think that alone would make myself and others more willing to pay a reasonable.membership fee. The articals are good most of the time, but you can read articals all day long on other sites.Good luck.I hope you find a way to make it work.

  19. irjonny24 says:

how about hosting fantasy football here. you could charge per league.

  20. Jon says:

Seems like a viscous circle with advertising. I’m sure Raider Image pays you to have their ad up here but when you don’t add any content for months at a time, nobody will visit the site. That means advertisers don’t get any value by paying you.

If you create the content and get the hits, advertising money should flow in fairly easily. If you don’t have any content, no hits, no money.

D-Raiders- Dunta Robinson got signed by the Falcons on the first day of free agency and Routt got a 1st and 3rd tender so he’s going nowhere.

  21. Most Hated says:

Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports via Twitter WR Antonio Bryant has left Bengals headquarters presumably without a contract Tuesday afternoon…

ATLEAST sign him AL he can take “J-Walk” spot!!!

  22. Jon says:

Too many bad contracts in the past leave old Al cash strapped. Meanwhile Chiefs and Broncos are getting better.

Chiefs signed Thomas Jones and Denver signed Jamal Williams and Jarvis Green today.

  23. irjonny24 says:

crap thomas jones in KC, DT williams and DE uhhh forgot his name landed in denver. the AFC west just got that much harder to compete in. comon Al help out this team. of course it’s all for nothing if Jruss starts.

  24. 3headedmonster says:

we should look @ keith Bulluck & AL Davis is the worlds biggest drag ass were missing out on players left and right

  25. LBRAIDER says:

You guys always do a good job of reporting and giving insights that has pissed me off at times. But you are still in my favorites. I would like to see more frequency, at times you guys were a little slow with the news. Personally I’m willing to pay a resonable monthly or yearly charge. Especially since I’m strongly considering giving up my tickets after all these years. I’m tired of coming from Sacramento and spending money on a bad product. It’s gets expensive just to leave the stadium in a pissed off mood.

  26. Blackholerow 1 says:

Hi I am Mike i sit in the first row of the black hole. I love you web site.i have an idea that you might use for getting funding,i would not be apposed to having a set up like SKYPE.If we put in like lets say 10.00 dollars my be like a bank and every time we use your site it deducts lets says .25 to.50 cents every time we use the site

    Go Raiders

  27. ericfarrell2010 says:

Here’s an idea…hire a few writers for free, like myself. I’m going to school as a Journalism Major with a specific interest in sports, and I don’t need to be paid (not yet anyway).

  28. RAIDER209 says:

Raiders hosting Larry Johnson!? no thanks!!! Bush should be primary. And if T.O. comes for a small price, I say we give him a chance.

  29. ernie72 says:

Come on Al, why are we scheduling a visit with Larry Johnson? lets get players we need, and also heard we’re interested on Tomlinson too?, how about a punt/kick returner? or a vet wide receiver, we missed out on Antonio Bryant, so now that means T.O will not sign with Cinci, everybody is getting players they need, except the Raiders!

  30. Silverdog says:

The Raiders need to clear a bunch of dead money before they can get involved in free agency. Walker is being paid a fortune, and they should just get the Russell thing over with - pay him his guarranteed $$$, and free things up for 2011. No one takes pleasure in admitting mistakes, but Al, come on now, be accountable, at least to yourself.

  31. 1nation says:

I’m sure you have thought of this but how about reaching out to the sponsers that advertise at Raider games and in the Gameday program. they are spending money to reach us at the games maybe they will throw a little to this website.
